Postdoctoral Scholar (2+ positions starting Fall 2024)

Postdoc applicants should normally obtain Ph.D. degree soon or no longer than 3 years in related fields with strong research experience and acknowledged outcomes. The candidate could collaborate with the PI to develop research, conduct experiments and manage the lab with good capability in communication, responsibility, and English oral/writing. A competitive salary will be offered and the candidated will also be strongly supported to apply funding from different sources.

Ph.D. Student (3+ positions starting Spring/Fall 2025)

Ph.D. applicants should graduate from renowned universities owing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with related background (including BME, EE, ME, ChemE, BioE, Chem, MSC, and others). The candidate will be fully funded (monthly salary: ~HK$ 18,000) and highly recommended to apply for several fellowships, such as HKPFS with grants for research activities/conference. Undergraduate Student (multiple positions)

We always welcome undergraduate researchers from all backgrounds at CityU to participate in our latest multidisciplinary research projects during the school year, final year, or in the summer. Please contact Dr. Yu Song by EMAIL if you are interested. Project areas include but not limited to:

• multimodal wearable biosensors
• additive manufacturing
• self-powered bioelectronics
• data analytics and machine learning

Research Assistant / Visiting Student (2 positions starting Fall 2024)

Research assistant / visitng student applicants should obtain the BSc or MSc degree and are required to fully work continuously no less than half years. The candidate could assist PI to deal with research projects and lab maintenance, and are recommended to pursue Ph.D. degree at the lab or overseas with great performance. The salary could be negotiated after the interview with additional allowance.
